Atmosphere Equestrian is based at the Aderro Dressage Centre which is a completely new, purpose built equestrian centre, offering all the facilities you would expect at a top-class establishment. It was designed to create the optimum environment for both horse and rider in a beautiful Cotswold setting.

About Mat Burnett (Trainer)

Mat Burnett has been riding freelance since 2005, and oversees the general day to day running of the yard, as well as schooling horses and competing for the Aderro Dressage Centre. He also rides for a number of other owners in the South & South West of England, including the CVS Stud. He has competition experience in the following fields:

Dressage

Competing up to Advanced Medium level and training at PSG level at home. Mathew is currently training with some of the best dressage trainers in the country who have identified him as one to watch for the future. Mathew receives regular instruction from Emile Faurie and Conrad Schumacher, who are both Olympic trainers. Mathew has recently gained the rides on two Small tour horses. This year Mat has qualified horses for the Regional Finals for Novice, Elementary and Freestyle to Music classes on various horses. Mat has recently been selected to ride at the Preparing to Win seminar day with Conrad Schumacher, Emile Faurie and Isobelle Wessels. He will be riding a beautiful 4 year old stallion by Dream of Heidleberg.

Showjumping

Gaining placings on both novices and more experienced horses up to 1.25m BSJA. Mathew currently has a small string of very talented young horses, on which he is acheiving promising results and is hoping to do well at next year's regionals. Mathew has in the past groomed for, and gained invaluable experience from former international show jumpers such as Nigel Goddard, Anna de Verteille and Ross Irving.

Other disciplines

Mathew has competed novice horses in X-Country, Team Chasing, Hunt races and One Day Events.

Mathew's career is gaining increased interest and support, and he is getting a very good reputation for riding and competing some more sensitive horses on behalf of their owners, achieving excellent results in a short space of time.

Mathew rides his young horses in a way that they can be produced to go all of the way to Grand Prix, making sure that the horses are loose, submissive and moving forwards happily in a good rhythm.
